Electronic Circuits for Biomedical Applications
Pisarenko, Tatiana ; Langerová, Petra (referee) ; Zmrzlá, Petra (advisor)
Tato bakalářská práce obsahuje úvod do biomedicínských signálů a možnosti zpracování těchto signálů elektronickými obvody. Významná část práce se zaměřuje především na popis EMG signálu. Součástí práce jsou take schemata elektrických obvodů, které se používají především pro zpracování EMG signálů. Dále má práce praktickou část, v níž byly v simulátoru OrCAD Capture ověřovány funkce a parametry navrženého obvodu.
Universal Emulation Platform for Checking the Designs of the Integrated Circuits
Podzemný, Jakub ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with verification possibilities of integrated circuits, especially with hardware emulation. The first part of the text briefly describes designing process of an integrated circuit, which includes emulation using emulation platforms. The main part of this work deals with the innovation of the emulation platform, which is used by SCG Czech Design Center s. r. o. Possible ways to improve the current emulation platform are explored and further taken into account when designing a universal emulation platform. Last part of this work deals with functional verification of the proposed universal emulation platform. Functionality will be verified by emulation of the basic control functions of the NCP1246 circuit.
Operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) for Field Programable Mixed-Signal Arrays
Czajkowski, Ondřej ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Bečvář, Daniel (advisor)
Operational amplifier will be designed and optimized with respect to set of required parameters. Real CMOS technology (available at Department of Microelectronics) will be used for designed OTA circuit and its simulations. Designed OTA will be used as universal operation amplifier configurable block in FPAA (field-programmable analog array) structures.
Optimization of fabrication technology and defect detection for ceramics structures
Chyťa, Filip ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Skácel, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with the problems of defects in ceramics structures and packages, their detection and subsequent optimization of the manufacturing process in order to eliminate these defects. The first chapter summarizes ceramic materials in elec-trical engineering and deals specifically with Al2O3 and material GRANNALOX 9620 F and optimization of its production profile. The second chapter deals with preparation of the ceramic powder and its subsequent processing. The third chap-ter deals with detection of defects in the thus formed ceramic packages, testing their electrical, thermal and mechanical makings. In the next chapter I deal with my workflow, which I used in the production of packages, the way of production and testing of packages, including comparison of their makings.
High-frequency oscillator in CMOS technology
Lang, Radek ; Musil, Vladislav (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This project focus to desing an on-chip oscillator in function as a clock generator. Frequency stability of the oscillator is affected by supply voltage, temperature and process variations. The aim is to propose a clock generator with sufficient frequency stability, low power consumption and a small chip area. This work deals with the types of oscillators and their basic building blocks suitable for our application. It also deals with the study and design options of temperature and process compensation circuit generating the current control, which provides the frequency stabilization of the output signal.
LED driver with synchronous rectification
Hodáňová, Adéla ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to compare two circuits designed for LED powering with output current of units of Amperes. Both circuits are based on step-down converter topology, one with technology of synchronous rectifying and the other one without it. Calculations and selection of used components with real prototypes were made for both selected circuits. All selected components meet automotive qualification requirements for discrete products. Produced prototypes were compared in terms of functionality, efficiency, EMC and thermal radiation.
Data aquisition card for integrated circuit tester
Koleček, Jan ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and realize a data acquisition card. The main task of the designed card will be to generate stimulating signals for the tested integrated circuit, to process signals generated by the tested integrated circuit, to convert them into a digital form and to send them to a superior system. The thesis will present a choice of integrated circuits suitable for its realization, a wiring diagram of the data acquisition card, PCB design and VHDL code for the control FPGA chip.
Coilgun
Kovařík, Martin ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the design and construction of electromagnetic gun for testing projectiles from different ferromagnetic materials with maximal power 19 J. Conventional projectile propulsion mechanisms include the use of compressed air or explosion which places theoretical limits on the maximum muzzle velocity limited by laws of thermodynamics. The electromagnetic coil gun, explores the use of electromagnetism in accelerating projectiles which offers a much higher theoretical limit on muzzle velocity. In addition of an electromagnetic acceleration is possible to regulate output velocity/energy of projectile, and acceleration applied on projectile.
A Laboratory Task: Oscilloscope Measurement
Malý, Ondřej ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a signal generator for a laboratory task of the subject HELE. As a generating chip is used ICL 8038 that can generate three types of waveform – sinus, square wave and triangle. The frequency range is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in selected circuit. Output is connected to oscilloscope probe, but also to 3.5mm headphone jack through which can be the selected waveform listened to on the connected headphones or speakers and measure the audible threshold.
